Cyberbullying is one type of “new violence type of bullying” in this era, especially among school children, adolescents, and youths, as an impact of information technology development. Cyberbullying is aggressive behavior that repeatedly occurs through electronic forms by groups or individually. Increasing internet use can be a potential risk to cyberbullying. The perpetrator is very difficult to be identified because they can establish themselves as anonymous. Many previous research conducted the study among adolescents, including junior and senior high school, but few studies focused on the university student. Cyberbullying can impact poor mental and physical health and dietary habits, such as anxiety, depression, stress, and substance abuse (smoking behavior, alcohol abuse, and drug addiction). Thus, this research aims to examine (1) the association between internet use and being a victim of cyberbullying, (2) the association between being a victim of cyberbullying and health behavior, (3) the association between being a victim of cyberbullying and psychosocial health, and (4) the association between being a victim of cyberbullying and dietary habits. This research method will use a cross-sectional design among undergraduate (> 18 years old) university students in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. The variables will be measured through a self-reported questionnaire. The being bullied is measured using Cyberbullying Questionnaire (CBQ). The data will be analyzed using Multinomial Logistic Regression and Structural Equation Model (SEM). The findings from this study will contribute to preventing cyberbullying in universities in Indonesia.
