Biography:

Yadanar Aung is a medical researcher with extensive experience and management skills and has been working at Ministry of Health and Sports, Myanmar since 2009. Currently, Yadanar is a student as a PhD candidate of Institute for Population and Social Research that studies in Demography. Yadanar graduated from University of Medicine, Mandalay with a bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (M.B.,B,S) and a master degree in Biomedical and Health informatics from Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University. Her career has allowed her to emphasize the use of demographic measures to strengthen the population health. Collaborating with the international and local NGOs as well as the departments of health and department of public health and conducting research is a crucial part of her profession.
