Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, Acting President of Mahidol University opened "The International Conference on Birth Registration, Health, and Social Issues of Myanmar Migrants in Thailand", reported IPSR Director, Assoc. Prof. Rossarin Gray. The conference is co-hosted by World Vision Foundation of Thailand, Promoting Safe Migration for Temporary Migrants to Thailand project by Institute for Population and Social Research, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, College of Sports Science and Technology, Mahidol University and The Southeast Asia Junction (SEA Junction). Excellency, Mr. Pirkka TAPIOLA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Delegation of the European Union to Thailand and 180 honorable guests from Myanmar and Thailand attended this conference.
