Special Dialogue Session: “PSRH Alumni–Student Dialogue Session”

On February 26, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Dusita Phuengsamran, Deputy Director for International Relations and Organization Communication, together with Dr. Pattaphol Yuktadatta, co-organized the special dialogue session titled “PSRH Alumni–Student Dialogue Session.”

The event aimed to create a platform for experience-sharing between alumni and current students of the Master of Arts Program in Population and Sexual and Reproductive Health (International Program). The session was held at Srabua Room (109), 1st Floor, the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University.

On this occasion, the Institute was honored to welcome Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Edi Putra, an alumnus from Cohort 29, who shared his academic journey, professional experiences, and perspectives on personal development within the academic field with current students from Cohort 37. The atmosphere was warm and engaging, providing opportunities for close interaction, questions, and meaningful exchange of ideas.

Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Edi Putra graduated from the program with a perfect GPA of 4.00 and received the Dean’s List Award for the 2018 academic year. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic at that time, he was unable to receive the award in person. The program extends its sincere appreciation to the Director for graciously presenting the award to the alumnus on this occasion.

Currently, Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Edi Putra serves as a Lecturer in The Appetite & Obesity Research Group, Department of Psychology, and as a NIHR DSE Fellow in the Department of Public Health, Policy and Systems at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom.

This event represents another significant platform reflecting the strength of the alumni network and inspiring current students to further develop their potential toward international professional excellence.
