On February 11, 2026, Emeritus Professor Dr. Pramote Prasartkul and Associate Professor Dr. Chai Podhisita from the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University were invited speakers at the academic conference titled “Status, Direction, and Progress of Disciplines in the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences, Royal Society of Thailand, and Policy Recommendations,” held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Society of Thailand.
They presented and discussed the topic “Social Dynamics and Cultural Capital of Thailand,” highlighting the importance of demographic and social science knowledge in understanding societal change and informing future policy development.
