On 21 January 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University, together with Professor Dr. Sureeporn Punpuing, Senior Advisor; Assistant Professor Dr. Dusita Phuengsamran, Deputy Director for International Relations and Organization Communication; and Assistant Professor Dr. Dyah Anantalia Widyastari, Cluster 1 representative, warmly welcomed a delegation from the Centre d’Estudis Demogràfics (CED), University of Barcelona, Kingdom of Spain.
The delegation was led by Professor Dr. Albert Esteve (Director of CED) and included Associate Professor Dr. Juan Galeano (CORESIDENCE Project Leader), along with four Ph.D. students: Ms. Anna Turu, Ms. Simin Dai, Ms. Rita Trias-Prat, and Ms. Huifen Fang. The visit aimed to foster academic discussion and collaboration under Research Cluster 1: Thai Society and Demographic and Family Change, led by Associate Professor Dr. Bhubate Samutachak, IPSR, Mahidol University.
