On October 24, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University, presided over and delivered opening remarks at the workshop “IPSR Research Cluster Synergy: Harnessing AI to Address Population Challenges and Promote Inclusive Development.”
He also welcomed Dr. Wanaruk Chaimayo from the Research Management Division, Mahidol University, who served as a guest speaker and shared insights on the application of the MUREX Portal in conjunction with InCites and SciVal databases, as well as the use of Generative AI (Gen AI) for analyzing research directions and trends, identifying in-depth research topics, and finding potential global collaborators to expand networks, strengthen cooperation, and enhance the international impact of research.
The workshop provided an opportunity for IPSR’s faculty members and researchers to exchange ideas and connect research interests across the six IPSR research clusters and with international researchers, with the aim of fostering future academic collaboration. The session was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jongjit Rittirong, Deputy Director for Research, and held at Srabua Room (109), 1st Floor, IPSR, Mahidol University.
