On October 27, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University, and Michiko ITO, Chief of Mission a.i., International Organization for Migration (IOM) Thailand, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote research and academic capacity development through student exchanges, training programs, and fostering a sustainable understanding of migration.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Assistant Professor Dr. Dusita Phuengsamran, Deputy Director for International Relations and Organizational Communication, along with Professor Dr. Sureeporn Punpuing, Associate Professor Dr. Marc Voelker, Associate Professor Dr. Sudarat Musikawong, Dr. Abubakar Yakubu Abbani, IPSR students, and IOM staff, at the Srabua Room (109), IPSR.
