On September 25, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., Dr. Suriya Wongkongkathep, Chair of the Country Coordinating Mechanism for Global Fund support (CCM Thailand), together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suchada Thaweesit, from the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, and Vice-Chair of CCM Thailand, along with the CCM Thailand Executive Committee, met with the new Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Somruk Jungsaman. The meeting aimed to introduce the role of CCM Thailand and present policy recommendations to the Ministry concerning future collaboration with the Global Fund in combating HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria.
