On 28 August 2025, the Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University delivered used calendars collected from institute personnel and external donors to the Educational Technology Center for the Blind, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province.
The purpose of this initiative was to support the reuse of high-quality paper from calendars in producing Braille learning materials and other educational aids for visually impaired persons. This effort not only helps reduce waste and add value to discarded materials but also creates sustainable learning opportunities for the blind.
Moreover, the activity reflects IPSR’s commitment to social responsibility by supporting community-oriented initiatives while fostering a culture of resource efficiency and sustainable utilization.
