Study Visit on E-Learning Instructional Management

On 22 July 2025, the Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nucharapon Liangruenrom, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, along with Lect. Dr. Sarunya Sujaritpong, DVM, and IPSR staff, visited the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Mahidol University, for a study visit on E-Learning instructional management. The visit took place in Meeting Room 729, 7th Floor, Sirividhaya Building.

The IPSR delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Sitara Jutharat, Deputy Dean for Education Quality and Student Development, Dr. Pimpitcha Kuprasert, Program Chair of the Bachelor of Arts in Thai Language, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aphilak Kasampolkoon, and Dr. Thirayut Suriya, lecturers in the same program.

The study visit covered the following key areas:

  • Instructional Management: including online course quality standards (e.g., AUN-QA), faculty training and support in course design, and assessment approaches for various teaching formats.
  • Technology and Infrastructure: such as platforms used for instruction (e.g., MUX, SPOC), hybrid classroom equipment and systems, teaching content recording and management methods, security measures, and relevant software usage.
  • Instructional Design and Learning Experience: strategies for enhancing student engagement in online classrooms, assignments/tests and learning assessment activities, and how these insights are applied to improve teaching practices.

The visit concluded with a tour of the actual classrooms and facilities used for hybrid and online teaching.
