On 19 June 2025, the Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University, organized the IPSR Alumni Global Engagement Sessions 2025 under the theme “From IPSR to the World: Alumni Making Real-World Impacts.” The event was held online via Zoom and livestreamed on LinkedIn. We were honored to welcome IPSR alumni—Ngakan Putu Anom Harjana, Abubakar Yakubu Abbani, Fariha Haseen, Win Ei Phyu, and Pushpendra Mishra—as speakers. They shared their experiences, innovations, and the global impacts they are making toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly under the theme Advancing Gender and Reproductive Justice.
The event was attended by faculty members, researchers, students, staff, and interested participants from around the world. It aimed to highlight how IPSR alumni—working in Thailand, Indonesia, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Myanmar, India, and beyond—are creating meaningful change in key areas such as health, gender equality, and broader social development.
