On May 21, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, together with the Institute’s executives and the Strategy and Risk Management Unit, led an important online strategic meeting to determine the Institute’s strategic direction for the next four years (2026–2029). The meeting focused on gathering in-depth information and recommendations from external stakeholders and addressed key issues in research, teaching, and academic services, core missions of the Institute. This brainstorming session will serve as a critical foundation for developing an effective strategic plan that meets future societal needs.
