Lecturer Dr. Truc Ngoc Hoang Dang, the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, attended the Population Association of Singapore (PAS) Annual meeting 2025 as the chair of the session ‘Intergenerational Relations’ and presented the research titled ‘Long-term Care Needs in Thailand: The Burdens and Challenges Faced by Migrant Caregivers’ at the session ‘Caregiving and Caregivers in Later Life.
The Population Association of Singapore Annual meeting 2025 is scheduled for May 15–16, 2025, at the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan (SHHK) Building, Nanyang Technological University (NTU). This year’s theme is “Demography and Inequality: Intersecting Paths”, focusing on how inequality influences and is influenced by demographic trends such as marriage, family formation, health outcomes, migration, and fertility decisions.
