IPSR–Mahidol University–Suphan Buri–EEF Jointly Organize a Meeting to Drive the Resolution of Children and Youth Out of the Education System (Thailand Zero Dropout) in Suphan Buri Province

During April 22–23, 2025, at the meeting room of the Suphan Buri Provincial Hall Office, the team supporting the Thailand Zero Dropout initiative and the development of mechanisms and database systems to support education management in the area (Send Smile Team) from the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, together with the Suphan Buri Provincial Education Office and the Equitable Education Fund (EEF), organized a meeting to drive the Thailand Zero Dropout policy to address the problem of children out of the education system in Suphan Buri Province. The meeting was honored by the presence of Mr. Konlawat Supsongsuk, Deputy Governor of Suphan Buri Province, who served as the chairman, along with Ms. Samnao Phong-aree, Suphan Buri Provincial Education Officer, and was attended by a total of 85 participants.

The training aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of the Thailand Zero Dropout information system, including the list of questions within the system, and to ensure participants could use the system according to their roles and responsibilities. It also aimed to equip them with the ability to transfer and share this knowledge with relevant provincial working groups. The participants included the main personnel responsible for the Thailand Zero Dropout project and project staff or agency representatives assigned to three roles: surveyor, case manager (CM), and system administrator (Admin) at both the provincial and sub-district levels.
