On April 1, 2025, a meeting was held to review the implementation of the project aimed at enhancing the capacity of local administrative organization personnel in utilizing population data for an aging society. The project, led by Associate Professor Dr. Sutthida Chuanwan, along with Associate Professor Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Associate Professor Dr. Jongjit Rittirong, Ms. Kanchana Thianlai, Mr. Wanapol Chamsukhi, and Mr. Phongsak Muensakda, aimed to summarize past achievements, share insights on successes, challenges, and obstacles, and discuss research directions to further support work on aging populations. The research team was honored to have Emeritus Professor Dr. Pramote Prasartkul, project advisor, deliver the opening remarks.
The meeting brought together the research team and representatives from over 20 local administrative organizations across Sam Phran District, Mueang District, Nakhon Chai Si District, and Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province. Participants engaged in discussions on their experiences working with the elderly and reflected on lessons learned in strengthening the capacity of local administrative personnel in population-related work. The meeting took place at the Prachasangkom Udompathana Meeting Room (101), 1st floor, Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University.
