On March 6, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., Associate Professor Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, participated in the anniversary event of the Department of Children and Youth, themed “10 Years of Department of Children and Youth, Working Together to Create Children and Youth as Quality Citizens.”
As part of the event, Associate Professor Dr. Chalermpol also participated in a TED Talk session on the topic “When the World Situation Changes… How Do We Prepare Children and Youth to Cope with the Change?” The event was attended by former executives of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, former and current executives of the Department of Children and Youth, including Mrs. Sirilak Meemak and Mrs. Phinya Chamroonsart, Deputy Director-General of the Department, as well as representatives from government agencies, the private sector, civil society organizations, and the media.
The event took place at the Pakorn Angsusingh Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Department of Social Development and Welfare, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.
