On February 17, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Jongjit Rittirong, Deputy Director for Research at the Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University, along with IPSR staff and the IPSR PA Challenge team, represented the institute in donating scholarships, educational materials, development toys, and sports equipment to children at Moo Baan Dek Sarnrak Kindergarten for Orphans and Poor Children and Baan Tan Tawan, Children Foundation, located on Phutthamonthon Sai 4 Road, Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom Province.
This initiative stemmed from the IPSR PA Challenge, where participants across the institute collectively tracked their steps to earn rewards as part of IPSR’s 53rd-anniversary celebration from August to October 2024. A total of 53 million steps were accumulated, resulting in a donation of 15,000 THB from the institute to support underprivileged children with school supplies and sports equipment.
