On November 29, 2024, the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, represented by Emeritus Professor Dr. Pramote Prasartkul, Associate Professor Dr. Sutthida Chuanwan, Deputy Director for General Administration, and Associate Professor Dr. Jongjit Rittirong, Deputy Director for Research, participated in the meeting titled “Synergizing Academic Power to Drive Policy Work, Jointly Creating a Sustainable Well-Being Aging Society.” The event was part of the Knowledge Warehouse Opening Ceremony 2024 organized by the Foundation of Thai Gerontology Research and Development institute (TGRI) and the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), held at the Government Complex and Convention Center.
In this meeting, Emeritus Professor Dr. Pramote Prasartkul served as a keynote speaker, presenting research and leading discussions on the topic “Housing and Environment: Approaches to Promote the Elderly to Live in Quality Housing.” Additionally, Associate Professor Dr. Jongjit Rittirong delivered a presentation on “Aging in the Community with Multi-Sector Health Services and Social Innovation,” while Associate Professor Dr. Sutthida Chuanwan presented her research on “Social Services for the Elderly.”
