On November 14, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, and the administrative board warmly welcomed representatives from various departments who participated in the merit-making ceremony held to commemorate the 53rd anniversary of the Institute for Population and Social Research. The Institute organized a ceremony to pay homage to the sacred objects and spirits of the building, a dry food alms-giving ceremony for 9 monks from Wat Hathai Naresuan, and was honored by Emeritus Professor Dr. Pramote Prasartkul, senior advisor of the institute, to preside over the incense-lighting ceremony to worship the Triple Gem.
Furthermore, the institute organized a scholarship awards ceremony for students and educational equipment to 7 schools in Phutthamonthon District, as well as scholarships for children and awards for creative initiatives to staff at the Prachasangkom Udompathana Meeting Room (101), 1st floor, Prachasangkom Udompathana Building, Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University.
