On October 18, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University, awarded certificates to participants of the first “R2R Workshop Series – Moving Forward with R2R” training. The morning session featured Lecturer Dr. Nara Khamkhom and Mr. Pasakorn Boonkhum, Plan and Policy Analyst (Expert Level), who delivered lectures on setting objectives, research methods, and expected outcomes (research/analysis/manual). Participants were also engaged in hands-on practical training with the guidance of a team of mentors.
In the afternoon session, Associate Professor Dr. Charamporn Holumyong and Lecturer Dr. Nara Khamkhom continued with practical exercises, focusing on developing research topics and crafting Concept Notes (1-2 pages) to guide future projects.
The workshop had over 26 participants and was organized by Acting Sub Lt. Niphon Darawuttimaprakorn, Research Practitioner (Expert Level), and Associate Professor Dr. Manasigan Kanchanachitra, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs. The event was held at the Srabua Meeting Room (Room 109), 1st floor, IPSR, Mahidol University.
