On July 25, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Healthy Food Plan and the Health Promotion Foundation, welcomed Ms. Madiha Ahmed, Senior Program Specialist at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) from Canada. The meeting aimed to exchange information and experiences on research related to food environments and food systems in Thailand and other regions. It focused on guidelines for developing research topics and communicating results to provide lessons that other countries can learn from. Attendees from IPSR included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jongjit Rittirong, Deputy Director for Research; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Manasigan Kanchanachitra, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirinya Phulkerd; Dr. Pattraporn Chuenglertsiri; Dr. Weerapak Samsiripong; Ms. Wansuda Ngam-arun; and Ms. Pimolpan Nitnara. The meeting took place in Room 326, Health Learning Center Building, ThaiHealth.
