The Thailand Physical Activity Knowledge Development Center (TPAK) Database Development and Forecasting Group manages and analyzes data using the SPSS program for IPSR personnel, network partners, and interested individuals. The training took place between April 24th and 25th, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Computer Laboratory (Room 316), Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University. Mr. Danusorn Potharin, Head of the Database and Forecasting Development Group, along with Mr. Sittichat Somta and Ms. Narumol Haemathulin, were the main speakers during the training.
This session provided basic knowledge about the importance of data management and understanding the types of data before analysis. It covered basic data management and statistical analysis, including descriptive and inferential statistics in various formats, using the SPSS program. The training was attended by participants from various departments of IPSR, network partners, and interested individuals, totaling 29 persons.
