On February 14, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aree Jampaklay, the current Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University, along with the management team, faculty, researchers, and personnel, attended a ceremony to hand over the directorial duties to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, who will assume the role as the next Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research.
The term of office for Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan is set for 4 years, starting from February 21, 2024. During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aree Jampaklay provided an overview of the institute’s operations over the past 4 years. Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan introduced the new management team and outlined the future direction of the institute.
The ceremony took place at the Sra Bua Room (109), 1st floor of the institute.
