On February 14, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirinya Phulkerd from the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University actively participated as a speaker in the Plenary session. The topic of discussion was “Successful Food Governance and Regulation: Case Studies from Around the World.” Joining her were speakers from the School of Public Health at Sao Paulo University, the School of Public Health at The University of Sydney, and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). This session took place under the umbrella of the 2024 Global Food Governance Conference, organized by the Charles Perkins Center and Sydney Health Law (The University of Sydney). The event was held in collaboration with The George Institute for Global Health and The Global Center for Legal Innovation on Food Environments at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law (Georgetown University), hosted at the University of Sydney Law School.
