A knowledge exchange process was organized on the topic ‘Lesson Learned and Knowledge Management Advocacy.’ Participants included a working group from the EEF and a provincial working group on spatial education management, focusing on reducing educational inequality in 12 provinces, namely: 1. Samut Songkhram Province 2. Surin Province 3. Phraya Province 4. Lampang Province 5. Rayong Province 6. Khon Kaen Province 7. Songkhla Province 8. Surat Thani Province 9. Pattani Province 10. Mae Hong Son 11. Phitsanulok Province 12. Sukhothai
Province Each province had representatives from the plan/project thinker group, operational group, and driving group. The EFE working group comprised representatives from the EFE subcommittee, educational partners, and the academic support team. The primary objective of organizing this workshop was to draw lessons from past experiences, highlighting success factors and obstacles. The focus also included examining the possibility and factors determining the decentralization of education management at the provincial level. Additionally, it aimed to identify the appropriate and effective role of the provincial ABE working group in the future. The workshop concluded with a summary of lessons learned from the work throughout the past year (2022) and an analysis of guidelines for a decentralized education management model. Professor Wutthisan Tanchai, Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee on Organizing Spatial Education to Reduce Inequality at the Fund for Educational Equality (EEF), had the honor of opening this knowledge exchange forum.
