The Thai PBS program “Wan Mai Variety” highlighted the topic of model communities for the elderly by selecting Ngio Rai Subdistrict as a focus area. This subdistrict serves as a research site for the research project “Comprehensive development of Thai older persons’ quality of life by local administrative organizations.” Filming took place on September 19.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sutthida Chuanwan, the lead researcher of the project, joined the mayor of the Ngio Rai Subdistrict Administrative Organization in an interview for the program. They showcased key initiatives, including an elderly school, a rhythmic dance club, and home visits for the elderly.
