On August 29-30, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the Thailand Physical Activity Knowledge Development Center (TPAK), led by Dr. Dyah Anantalia Widystari and Associate Professor Dr. Piyawat Katewongsa, along with the research team, participated in the ‘SUNRISE 2nd Annual General Meeting 2023.’ This meeting served as a platform for discussions among SUNRISE network representatives from 64 countries worldwide.
The objective was to exchange ideas and explore opportunities for collaborative research and the publication of international academic works. Additionally, they presented examples of research project approaches, focusing on ‘Physical Activity Survey, Sedentary Behavior, and Sleep among Children under 5 Years of Age.’
The Thailand research team had successfully collected data during the primary phase of the study in the first country, and during the meeting, they shared insights into the challenges and obstacles they encountered, along with the methods they employed to overcome them. These experiences were presented as case studies, serving as valuable examples for researchers from other countries to exchange knowledge and best practices with one another.
