Between August 29 and 30, 2023, personnel from the Institute for Population and Social Research, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirinya Phulkerd, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teeranong Sakulsri, and Ms. Natjera Thongcharoenchupong, attended the Southeast Asia Obesogenic Food Environment (SEAOFE) Study meeting working group in a hybrid format at SEDA Manila Bay, Philippines. On August 30, 2023, the Thailand research team took part in the Stakeholder Forum titled ‘Breaking the Chains of Double Burden: Empowering Healthier Food Retail to Address Malnutrition,’ organized in collaboration with the Philippine Society of Nutritionist-Dietitians and the Department of Health of the Philippines. Additionally, they served as representatives, presenting and participating in discussions during the forum.
