From 18 to 20 March 2023, the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University organized a training program titled “Survey on Food Consumption, Food Security, and Food Literacy in Thai Population” at the Imperial Hotel Golden Triangle Resort in Chiang Rai Province. The program aimed to develop the potential of partners involved in the food plan for health of the Thai Health Promotion Area. The training was led by project leader Asst. Prof. Dr. Sirinya Phulkerd, along with Niphon Darawuttimaprakorn and the research team. The objective was to educate partners on the use of dietary assessment tools, food security, and food knowledge, as well as data collection skills using these tools, including preliminary data analysis, interpretation, and presentation of results.
