Join us for a workshop focussing on why, what, where, and how to publish your research.
The workshop, aimed at early career researchers but open to all social scientists at Mahidol University, will discuss how to identify a good outlet for your research, how to develop an article to meet standards for international peer-review publication, and what happens after an article is submitted. The workshop will round up with advice about developing a writing routine and there will be plenty of time for Q&A.
Short speakers’ bios
Dr Laura Morosanu is Reader in Sociology (University of Sussex) with broad interests in migrants’ transnational work and social lives, and how these are shaped by their social locations. She is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies and sits on the International Editorial Board of Ethnic and Racial Studies.
Dr Sarah Scuzzarello is Associate Professor at the Department of Geography and core member of the Sussex Centre for Migration Research (University of Sussex). Her research is interdisciplinary and focuses on the intersection of migration, integration, gender and sexuality. She is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies and sits on the International Editorial Board of Ethnic and Racial Studies.
