This webinar focuses on the experiences of refugees in the time of the pandemic. These people are among those who are at the highest risk of getting infected because they could hardly comply with physical distancing guidelines as families often cramp into small spaces. Many of them also lack access to masks and other protective gear. The infection of one person, therefore, could easily lead to the infection of all persons in the family. The discussion will also cover the impacts of Covid-19 on refugees&#39; day-to-day survival and resettlement prospect and explore the possible role of different actors in assisting and supporting refugees in the time of the pandemic.<\/div>\n<div>\n\t\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\t\t<strong>Moderator: Lect. He is a sociologist working primarily on refugee studies and international development. He received the Government Scholarship to undertake a master&#39;s degree in International Development at the Elliot School of International Affairs, the George Washington University, Washington, DC, USA, and a PhD in Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. Currently, Dr Bhanubhatra is researching two topics.
