\u201cIncreasing the birth rate within a short period or in a few years is impossible,\u201d she told VOA. \u201cThailand needs a national plan in all policies to maintain the fertility level and needs a lot of effort to increase the birth rate, which may take years.\u201cAccording to the lesson from other developed countries,\u201d she said, \u201cincreasing the birth rate is not that simple.
