Abstract

Christina Chandra is a Master of Public Health student studying global epidemiology at Emory University. Her research interests include infectious diseases, particularly HIV and co-infections, aging, and mental health. This summer, she is working with Dr. Annette and Dr. Jeremy at TREAT Asia on a study related to mental health services integration in HIV care settings. She will also be presenting a poster abstract on the relationship between depressive symptoms and HIV-related risk factors among female sex workers in Pattaya at the Asia Pacific AIDS and Co-Infections Conference in Hong Kong. This secondary analysis used data collected from the collaboration with Mahidol University, SWING, Johns Hopkins, and amfAR, funded by SVRI/World Bank. Prior to entering her Master's degree program, Christina worked as a social impact consultant in the fields of global health, education, and government, and she was a public policy fellow with amfAR's DC office. She received a Bachelor's degree in History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health at Yale University.
