Hisano Niikura is Ph.D. Candidate at Ferris University in the Division of Humanities in Communication Studies. She is also the recipient of the 2019 Research Fellowship for Young Scientists of Japan Society for the Promotion Science. Currently, she is also on the Board of Directors of non-profitable organization House for Women “Saalaa,” supporting Thai women’s community in Japan.
