Need for Caregivers of Older People and Caregiver Burden at Household Level in Thailand

There has been very little research on caregivers of older persons in Thailand, despite the potential importance of this to the economic and social development of the country. All existing data were reported on an individual level, rather than being conducted at the household level in the community. A presenter’s Ph.D. project seeks to address this important gap.

 

In the seminar, the presenter would like to present first progress report on her dissertation titled “Need for Caregivers of Older People and Caregiver Burden at Household Level in Thailand”. Also, the presenter would like to take this opportunity to share her experiences of NEWTON FUND – PhD PLACEMENTS FOR SCHOLARS 2017/2018 application.
