On September 30, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of IPSR, Mahidol University, served as a speaker on the topic “Promoting Employment to Enhance Income Security and Value for Older Persons” at the Academic Seminar on Thai Elderly: Challenges and Proposals for a Sustainable Future.
The event was co-organized by the Bureau of Academic Promotion of the Parliament, King Prajadhipok’s Institute, the Secretariat of the House of Representatives, and the Department of Older Persons.
Distinguished guests included Mr. Chalard Khamchuang, Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (opening remarks); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Sereewatthanawut, Secretary-General of King Prajadhipok’s Institute (report speech); and Mr. Natthacha Boonchaiinsawat, Member of Parliament (welcome remarks). The seminar was held in Meeting Room B1-2, House of Representatives Building.
