This initiative is part of a global partnership with the Active Healthy Kids Global Alliance, which includes 71 countries. It aims to produce a situational analysis of physical activity among children and adolescents in Thailand using the international comparative framework of Global Matrix 5.0. The findings will serve as national indicators of physical activity levels.

Additionally, the meeting featured a special lecture by Dr. Naina Tancharoen, Director of the Bureau of Special Education Administration, on “The Need to Promote Physical Activity Among Children and Adolescents with Disabilities.” Dr. Methawee Phumarin, Director of the Group for Promoting Education Management in Schools for Students with Special Needs, also joined the session.
