The research project on the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on Thai-Malay Muslim workers in the southern border provinces who migrate back to the motherland: vulnerability and recovery in household economic dimensions

On October 17, 2022, the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, supported by The Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council organized a seminar to present research results “The research project on the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on Thai-Malay Muslim workers in the southern border provinces who migrate back to the motherland: vulnerability and recovery in household economic dimensions”. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aree Jampaklay, Director of IPSR, presented the findings of the issue “How to deal with the economy of labor and households” together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suchada Thaweesit, Deputy Director for Research, Finance, and Procurement presented “Economic vulnerabilities of households” and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anlaya Smuseneto, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prince of Songkla University Pattani Campus, presented “Economic recovery of labor and households” at Klang Chon Room, CS Pattani Hotel.
